Janelle Joy

Hey there! I’m Janelle - founder, CEO, and head editor of the team.

I’m a mom, wife, photographer and intense lover of sugar. (I have a serious sweet tooth, not gonna lie!) My favorite ways to spend my free time are bike rides on a sunny afternoon, traveling, and dance parties with my girls!

After my last baby was born, I saw an increase in the need for private editing services for wedding photographers. That’s one of my favorite parts of the process, so it was immediately a perfect fit. I still love doing portrait photography since it keeps my creative juices flowing and keeps my editing chops on point!

I have three amazing girls, I’ve been married to my incredibly supportive husband for 15 years and I’ve been perfecting my photography expertise for more than a decade. I built my photography business shooting portraits, weddings, newborns, and seniors and I LOVE it.

For me, editing weddings from all over the world is like a dream come true! The most magical part of editing wedding photos is getting to fully experience the wedding from start to finish through the beautiful images my clients work so hard to capture. From the details of the dress to the first look, all the way until the last champagne flute standing, I love to help the whole story come together.

XOXO,

Because I’ve built my business based on close, personal partnerships with my clients, I’d love the chance to schedule a video chat with you. Let’s talk about how I can help you dramatically increase your profits, productivity and most importantly…increase the amount of time you have to do the things you love!

Jade

Lead Editor

Hi, I’m Jade! I have my Bachelor’s in Business Administration but my true passion is photography. I don’t remember ever not having a camera with me, so when a friend started her journey into professional photography a few years ago, I decided to do the same. I invested in my first full frame camera, took some classes from the best in the industry and started practicing with my friends and family. The rest is history! To this day I still offer photography sessions so that I can stay on top of the constant changes in our industry and keep my skills sharp.

The joy clients feel when they see their fully edited photos from their wedding day or portrait session makes me so happy. I feel so blessed to be able to create beautiful images for others, either behind the camera taking photos or behind the computer editing them!

During my free time, I love to curl up with a good book (the Harry Potter series are my fave!), catch the latest action movie (I can’t count how many times I’ve watched Wonder Woman), try out new recipes, travel, and just spending time with my husband, our four pups, family and friends. I enjoy cooking and baking, and am in my element when hosting dinner parties.

Lead Editor

Hello! I'm Kayla, I have a deep passion for editing and love for helping others. I started my journey as a photographer after taking a film class in college. I went from going to school for Business to graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Photography and Graphic Design after taking that class. I quickly realized that I have a passion for editing and wanted to focus that passion on editing for other wedding photographers. I get to use my editing skills, stay in the industry I love and also bless other photographers by helping them get their time back! What could be better?? Life is about doing what matters the most to you.

I have been doing photography professionally now for over 7 years. I have worked and edited for some of the high-end luxury photographers in Arizona and truly adore this industry and what I do!

I'm a lover of natural light, fresh flowers, and the little moments in life. You can catch me chasing sunsets in the mountains or at home on the couch with my hubby and cat eating Mexican food. I am a sucker for the Hallmark Channel movies! I love happily ever afters and will most likely cry while editing a wedding.

in between! I then have the privilege of seeing what you've captured, and bringing those images to life by making them the best they possibly can be.

When I’m not a photographer and photo editor, I'm a theatre nerd. I'm also a former 7-12 English teacher and drama coach, and the stage still has a holds a huge place in my soul. I love attending theater productions, especially in New York City. In the past, I’ve acted in and directed community and school theater productions. stationed for three years. It is seriously paradise here!

As a previous wedding photographer I know how daunting the wedding season can get especially if you don't have someone helping you with those edits! I have found a new love for photography in helping wedding photographers edit their wedding galleries and giving them back so much needed down time to spend with loved ones. I also love seeing weddings all over the U.S. and am inspired by each and every one of my clients and their unique photography skills. And with 6 years of photography and editing experience I can help you get back to doing more of the things you love.

When I'm not editing you can find me exploring our island, relaxing on one of the many beaches here or even traveling around the Asian Pacific. I love green tea and any type of sweets and we have two fur babies, Jackson and Kiwi.

It was three years ago I began building relationships with photographers as a personal editor. It has been an amazing experience to help other photographers balance their passions and deliver professionally edited imagery in an efficient and timely manner. I love seeing images from coast to coast from so many talented photographers and helping them on their journey.

When I’m not in the office, you can find me spending time with my family in the same small town I grew up in. My husband and I have two teenage sons that keep us busy on the sidelines all year cheering them on and my oldest will be leaving for college soon. I enjoy planning trips and travelling, adore the fresh smell of lilacs, sunny days on the lake or by the coast, iced coffee and carrot cake! I’ve always believed that kids grow up too fast, relationships are what tie us together, and wedding days are truly once in a lifetime. It’s a privilege to be a part of the experience capturing life.

Chief White House Photographer, Pete Souza during the Obama administration. The stories are plentiful, so I’ll keep it brief by saying it was more than I could have ever hoped for.

Photo editing is my passion. I love collaborating with photographers to achieve their unique vision and producing quality work which saves them time. Wedding photography is particularly special because it captures moments that live on forever, ones you share with your children and grandchildren. I still look at my mother and grandmothers wedding albums! To be a part of something that brings another person so much joy is a true blessing.

In my free time you can catch me spinning at my local cycling studio, hiking the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, enjoying a beer with friends at a local brewery, eating at a delicious restaurant, or chilling with my boyfriend and our cat-dog Darcy (he’s named after Mr.Darcy from “Pride and Prejudice”).

Hi, I'm Jen!  After more than 20 years in the photography business, I can say I've seen pretty much everything. And yet, I'm still thrilled and excited about what's next!

That's what I love about editing for you: You've done the hard work of being there for your clients on their special day. You've captured moments poignant and hilarious, serious and spontaneous, and everything in between!

Hi, I’m Heather number 2!  I fell in love with cameras and film dating back to the darkroom days of yearbook staff many years ago! I’ve spent the last dozen years successfully operating a portrait and wedding photography studio after leaving the corporate world behind. I still spend time capturing high school seniors and families for my photography business.
