Janelle Joy
Hey there! I’m Janelle - founder, CEO, and head editor of the team.
I’m a mom, wife, photographer and intense lover of sugar. (I have a serious sweet tooth, not gonna lie!) My favorite ways to spend my free time are bike rides on a sunny afternoon, traveling, and dance parties with my girls!
After my last baby was born, I saw an increase in the need for private editing services for wedding photographers. That’s one of my favorite parts of the process, so it was immediately a perfect fit. I still love doing portrait photography since it keeps my creative juices flowing and keeps my editing chops on point!
I have three amazing girls, I’ve been married to my incredibly supportive husband for 15 years and I’ve been perfecting my photography expertise for more than a decade. I built my photography business shooting portraits, weddings, newborns, and seniors and I LOVE it.
For me, editing weddings from all over the world is like a dream come true! The most magical part of editing wedding photos is getting to fully experience the wedding from start to finish through the beautiful images my clients work so hard to capture. From the details of the dress to the first look, all the way until the last champagne flute standing, I love to help the whole story come together.
XOXO,
Janelle Joy

Hi, I’m Jade! I have my Bachelor’s in Business Administration but my true passion is photography. I don’t remember ever not having a camera with me, so when a friend started her journey into professional photography a few years ago, I decided to do the same. I invested in my first full frame camera, took some classes from the best in the industry and started practicing with my friends and family. The rest is history! To this day I still offer photography sessions so that I can stay on top of the constant changes in our industry and keep my skills sharp.
The joy clients feel when they see their fully edited photos from their wedding day or portrait session makes me so happy. I feel so blessed to be able to create beautiful images for others, either behind the camera taking photos or behind the computer editing them!
During my free time, I love to curl up with a good book (the Harry Potter series are my fave!), catch the latest action movie (I can’t count how many times I’ve watched Wonder Woman), try out new recipes, travel, and just spending time with my husband, our four pups, family and friends. I enjoy cooking and baking, and am in my element when hosting dinner parties.

editor, I quickly realized that I loved the editing process as much as being behind the camera. I love working with talented photographers and being able to relive the best day of people's lives. It’s a pretty awesome way to earn a living and I feel very fortunate to be able to not only edit beautiful images, but make a huge difference in my photographer’s lives!
When I am not enhancing gorgeous photos, I love taking my dog on a hike or to the dog beach at one of the awesome spots here in San Diego. I am also a huge fan of all things sweet and am always experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen. Chocolate anything will always put a smile on my face!
stationed for three years. It is seriously paradise here!
As a previous wedding photographer I know how daunting the wedding season can get especially if you don't have someone helping you with those edits! I have found a new love for photography in helping wedding photographers edit their wedding galleries and giving them back so much needed down time to spend with loved ones. I also love seeing weddings all over the U.S. and am inspired by each and every one of my clients and their unique photography skills. And with 6 years of photography and editing experience I can help you get back to doing more of the things you love.
When I'm not editing you can find me exploring our island, relaxing on one of the many beaches here or even traveling around the Asian Pacific. I love green tea and any type of sweets and we have two fur babies, Jackson and Kiwi.
It was seven years ago I began building relationships with photographers as a personal editor. It has been an amazing experience to help other photographers balance their passions and deliver professionally edited imagery in an efficient and timely manner. I love seeing images from coast to coast from so many talented photographers and helping them on their journey.
When I’m not in the office, you can find me spending time with my family in the same small town I grew up in. My husband and I have two sons that grew up too fast and are now almost ready to leave the nest. I enjoy planning trips and travelling, adore the fresh smell of lilacs, sunny days on the lake or by the coast, iced coffee and carrot cake! I believe that kids grow up too fast, relationships are what tie us together, and wedding days are truly once in a lifetime. It’s a privilege to capture life and assist other photographers live their best life, too!
editor for the Chief White House Photographer, Pete Souza during the Obama administration. The stories are plentiful, so I’ll keep it brief by saying it was more than I could have ever hoped for.
Photo editing is my passion. I love collaborating with photographers to achieve their unique vision and producing quality work which saves them time. Wedding photography is particularly special because it captures moments that live on forever, ones you share with your children and grandchildren. I still look at my mother and grandmothers wedding albums! To be a part of something that brings another person so much joy is a true blessing.
In my free time you can catch me spinning at my local cycling studio, hiking the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, enjoying a beer with friends at a local brewery, eating at a delicious restaurant, or chilling with my boyfriend and our cat-dog Darcy (he’s named after Mr.Darcy from “Pride and Prejudice”).
both technical and creative. Helping other photographers get their time back makes my Enneagram 2 heart sing! :)
When I'm not in the office, you can find me cooking or baking, hiking with my sweet husband, or watching some of my favorite shows - Bachelorette or This Is Us anyone?! :) We just got married this past November, so as a newlywed myself, weddings are even more special to me!
I’m driven by being able to give photographers the time that they need to focus on the things that are more important in business and in life!
I grew up in a small town in Oregon, and then moved to East Idaho where I now live after marrying an Idaho boy. We love all things summer and have a bucket list of visiting all of the National Parks! We live a short drive from the Grand Tetons and spend most of our summer weekends hiking and enjoying the incredible landscape there. When I’m not editing you can catch me rewatching my favorite shows, playing the piano, crafting, and hosting game nights with friends and family!
and collected numerous cameras, with my most recent being a Nikon mirrorless camera.
After operating a small portrait studio/business for a few years, I realized my favorite part of photography was the editing process. With my husband’s encouragement, I decided to leave my corporate job and focus on editing for wedding and portrait photographers. It has literally been a dream come true! Helping busy photographers provide beautifully edited catalogs to their clients, while viewing the most gorgeous weddings, makes me love what I do everyday!
When I’m not editing, I’m usually traveling with my husband, our golden retriever and two cats in our 41’ RV, photographing all the amazing places we visit. Besides traveling, I love hiking anywhere in nature, am an avid reader, crochet projects for various charities, and enjoy sushi & a nice glass of wine.
I would say my love for photography was born out of my mother’s love for making memories and her passion to forever memorialize the moments we spent together as a family. I can (and do!) get lost in the boxes and boxes of “Kodak-moments” living in the closets of our family’s homes! There’s just something about a photo that can transport you. That heritage of memory-making led me to my degree in graphic design and photography!
Since 2011, I have owned and operated a wedding and lifestyle portrait business! I’ve traveled a ton and met so many incredible people along the way. But just like so many other photographers, I struggled to balance work and family. I knew that I wanted to find a way to remain in the field but create space for some fun, too! That’s where private editing came in! If I was having a hard time balancing it all, other photographers out there probably were too! So here we are - I’m so pumped to meet you and help you get where you’re wanting to go!
began to realize it was not the career path I had envisioned for myself. One morning, after an exhausting 24-hour shift, I made the tough decision that this was no longer the line of work I wished to pursue. I dusted off that camera that had been sitting in my closet for 6 months and the rest was history!
As a professional photographer for 9 years, I’ve always enjoyed the editing process. For the past 3 years, I’ve established amazing relationships with photographers all across the country. This has blessed me with the opportunity to experience many places that I would otherwise never see, through the talented viewpoints of other photographers. Having experienced many busy wedding seasons myself, I’ve embraced the opportunity to relieve some of the stress editing can bring.
I currently live in Virginia with my husband, Corey, and our 3 dogs! When I am not editing, you can find me binge-watching shows on repeat, listening to all genres of music, and making memories with our close family and friends. I’ve had the pleasure of working with some wonderful photographers, and I am very excited to build relationships with and work alongside even more of y’all!

Hi, I’m Heather number 2! I fell in love with cameras and film dating back to the darkroom days of yearbook staff many years ago! I’ve spent the last sixteen years successfully operating a portrait and wedding photography studio after leaving the corporate world behind. I enjoy still spending time capturing high school seniors and families for my photography business.

Hi, I’m Shelby! At 10 years old my grandfather passed down his Nikon film camera to me. It was love at first snap - I knew I’d found my calling. In 2009, I attended Rochester Institute of Technology for Advertising Photography and graduated in 2012 with a degree in Photography. Upon graduating college I had the amazing opportunity to be the photo editor for the Chief White House Photographer, Pete Souza during the Obama administration. Hi, I’m Deb!
I’ve had a passion for capturing the beauty of the world around us through photography since I was a teenager. One of my first jobs was working at a film lab, developing Kodak discs! While my career was in business administration for a local municipal utility for many years, photography was always my creative outlet. Over the years I’ve shot with and collected numerous cameras, with my most recent being a Nikon mirrorless camera.

Hi! I’m Brittany! I’m a proud wife and mama to 3 beautiful, little ladies (all 3 and under!) Together, we live in a small town in Georgia where I grew up just down the street. We live for family time and look for any and every way to make a memory together. Time is fleeting with these precious girls of ours, so we are serious about making the most of every moment.

Hi, I’m Courtney! My passion for photography began when I received my first camera for Christmas 10 years ago. However, reaching the point where photography became my career took some time, as I was actively pursuing a job as a firefighter/paramedic. At that time, I was employed by a private ambulance transport company as an EMT. While working there, I began to realize it was not the career path I had envisioned for myself.
